RMB internationalization is an unavoidable big trend. ANBOUND chief researcher Chen Gong suggests that internationalized currency can be simply explained as "legitimate" and “convenient”. While the “legitimate” can be achieved through a country's central bank, the “convenient” will also have to be involved with the design of industrial development and debt assets in addition to the efforts of central bank. Therefore, in order to comprehensively realize the goal of RMB internationalization, the supporting reforms and systematic designs in other fields must be followed.
